How to make OOTP 15 sim faster?

Alright, so I have all the leagues in my dynasty world from the MLB quickstart. I keep seeing people post about how fast their games/worlds are running, but for some reason, mine is pretty darn slow in terms of simulating?

So, how can I speed the sim up, or is this not possible?

I'm on a mac, and can breeze through sims with OOTP 9 through 14, but not OOTP 15?

Same for me (Mac also) I ran tons of leagues in the past and sim speed was great. In 15, it takes like a hour to sim a year. I even updated my OS to Mavericks which didn't even help.

Yeah, I'm starting my 2014 MLB game and simming day by day is taking forever.

I've run into the same problem, although my PC is about 6 years old and still running Vista so that could be why simming is taking a longer time. It takes a good 20-25 mins. or so just to sim a few days worth of games in the season. Not sure why it takes that long other than I have an older machine.
