OOOL Leagues

Have the few of us on-line leagues that liked and used the OOOL been tossed to the wind? as far as I can tell there is no place for us to log into the OOOL server & no browser or anyway for a new member to join.

I'm cool if it was decided to no longer support the OOOL, only a handful of us used it, if that many. But it would have been nice to know before-hand

and if so, will me just clicking the deactivate league from the OOOL server and adjusting the necessary ftp settings be enough for us to get up and running like an standard league again? I seem to remember some issues with that back in version 12 or 13, but it may have been fixed I don't remember it all that well.

I really like the OOOL so I would be sad to see it go

Yes, sorry. Only 2 OOOL league were active, so it was not worth the hassle to further support the feature in OOTP 15.

that I get,

but I can't log in to deactivate the league from the server. or do i even need to bother? the game is running reports so I can't look but it used to be that as an OOOL league you couldn't even access the option to set ftp team export info. is that still true? I suppose I can wait and find out. but since we run every report possible it can take some time

I have no idea to be honest, the OOOL stuff is coded by Andreas. So I suggest trying it out

I just looked and I have no team export ftp options to set and when I click the deactivate league from server button it tells me I need to log in.

I suppose at this point it's a support ticket ... after the school run

just in case you are interested, I went into the ootp14 file and was able to deactivate the league from the server and then i'll just import again into 15. nobody saw any of the players, not even me, so no harm no foul. and this way we'll let electrons do the work not calories.

A feature that was supposed to make joining and participating in online leagues easier, however, there was no instructions on how to use it, and while it technically worked, it wasn't actually any easier. Unfortunate.
