Team Scouts Problem

The game scouts are sending was strange reports in to there OHL team & the settings are off as well.

Birth year date is way off



I believe these players are to old for the OHL

I might be mistaken but the first scout is assigned to players in the province of Ontario who have "rights available" regardless of age as the "Range by Year" box is not checked. The second guy is scouting all players, regardless of age because the box isn't checked, in Nordic Europe. And the last guy looks like he was sent out to scout players in Ontario, not the OHL.

Yeah, the box needs to be ticked for the birth year range to be active.

The scouts will scout players out of the league's age range unless told otherwise, so it's generally best when playing as a CHL team to have either the age filter set to show only players 20 and under, or select the draft eligibility filter and set it to the league's draft (if you're trying to scout players for that draft.)

I like that there is now a group of scouts and assistants you can hire in history mode. I've found them to be quite useful. However, even though there are head coaches available I couldn't hire one for my Scouts. Is that to be expected at this point? FYI, I tried doing the same exact thing to hire a HC that I did to fire a Scout and AC and I had no problem hiring and firing.
