Online League History Question
I have a question and I was wondering if anyone knew anything about this or had a similar situation.
After 50+ years in league history and almost 13 RL years, our online league history has been screwed royally (basically most of our players vanished, and most team histories are messed as a result) an example would be a team from 20 seasons ago showing that there were only 7 active players on it the whole season, and nonsense such as that. We do believe one of our GM's has an old file from a few weeks ago which we believe was before the history was messed up. Would doing something like overwriting a file such as retired.dat with an older file, help clear up the history if it managed to put players back in the DB that somehow got messed up. Or possibly any other file(s) that could be overwritten to help us out since we've just been through a whole offseason so a file a few weeks old would take us somewhere into last season. So re-simming that much doesnt seem like a feasible option. |

Never been tried that I'm aware of.
The obvious choice here is - make a copy of your league, then try it with the copy and see what happens. If it works, gr8, if not, nothing lost other than a little time. |
