New drug suspension rules

Major League Baseball, union toughen drug agreement provisions - ESPN

While it is probably too late to code a "cannot play in postseason" tag, the increase from 50 to 80 games for a first-time offense can be implemented immediately.

Also, since a second-time offense is now 162 games, and the suspension algorithm in OOTP does not know how many games each league plays, I am requesting the ability to customize drug suspension lengths, instead of having them hardcoded. Otherwise, leagues playing a number of games other than 162 would have second-time offenders suspended for slightly more or less than a full season.

And if you play a very short season (I use 28 games sometimes) then you could be suspended for nearly 6 seasons...

And if Markus can't make the lengths of drug suspensions customisable, then at least pro-rate them based on season length.

50 game suspensions should have been in the last 2-3 versions as has not. It is annoying to manually change that every time when the news report says 10 games.

Let's hope that Markus has the time to update this before release. If not, maybe it can go into the first patch.

Forgive my stupidity- but aren't suspensions all editable in the storylines file, rather than being hardcoded in?

EDIT: Looked through the default_storylines.xml file- at least some of the PED suspension rules are in there, under "Spring Training - Diet Change"
