2 easy questions from a new player
1. i have minor league managers managing those teams
- i have noticed they don't pick the player with more potential to be the every day starter, can i fix this? - any problems with this? 2. Does having a prospect start in a instead aaa or vis versa effect his progression? Thnks |

1. The "force start" option in Set Game Strategy can be used. There is, unfortunately, no "force backup" option.
2. I recommend starting a prospect at A, if they put up bad numbers at AA or AAA it would adversely affect their progression. Promote them to AA/AAA once they prove they are too good for A. |

How bout progression through minors
I have noticed that most of my minor leaguers do not progress through the minors at any good kind of rate. Do you suggest just cutting low stared players all the time? So the high potential players get more opportunities?

You have to keep enough players to fill out your rosters. Just make sure that none of your 2-star and higher prospects are blocked, i.e. they get playing time at the appropriate level. Don't be afraid to cut 1-star players over age 24 to make room for better prospects.
