You know you're playing too much OOTP when...
...you're watching tv. A law enforcement official is shown on the screen. He has 4 stars on his collar and you think "Damn. he has talent. Wonder if he is a free agent?"

When I'm spending all day at work thinking if my #1 SP in the middle of his arby years will sign a long term deal that will buy out free agent years at a reasonable cost.

Now being a stats only player if you'd come out with 48 arrests this season then I may give him a shot at the clean up spot, also you have to figure in were the 4 stars from your scout or the league scout. We need more info before drafting him, come on more info

I play out all my games with the Yankees. Im in 2016. I had 3 fantasy drafts in the last week. I had brief moments at my drafts where i thought player movement and great past seasons in my ootp seasons were real life.

When I spent 3 hours designing my first online league championship rings. Then I could not figure out how to save the image to use as my avatar. My wife now calls me "Champ" after witnessing that fiasco.

Sorry, son. If you have time to watch TV, you are NOT spending enough time with OOTP.

But you are wrong lipped one. I had my laptop on my...well...lap and the TV is always on for background noise when I am playing OOTP. That was when the 4 starred talented Law Enforcement Official made his appearance. Here is the talented one. |

4 stars yeah, but be careful with a long term deal. Looks like he is on the backside of his career.

...when your wife says "I will do the dishes. Will you take out the trash?" & you reply "Throw in a 2nd round draft pick & you have a deal!"
...when your kids move out you refer to it as "being placed on irrevocable waivers." |

LOL The look on that guy's face just says, "Okay, let's go over this again Mr. Borkholder. You say you were in a cab going to the airport..."

Yeah it does! Anyways no deal was to be made. I offered a 2 year deal with a team option for the second at 12 mil per. He wanted a 5 year guaranteed contract for 16mil a year. I said no way would I invest that kind of money in an unproven player, clearly with limited years left, 4 stars or no. They wouldn't budge so I moved on. Here he is at a press conference, with his agent, probably announcing his "desire to stay in law enforcement in the town he loves so much" or something along those lines. |
