Cloning a Player

I cloned Andrew Cashner, a 27 year old Lett/Left Pitcher.

After Cloning, I got a message saying he would be in the Free Agent area.

There is no Cashner or no 67/67 pitcher in my FA area.

This brings up another point. After signing a FA or making a trade, the game tells me that he shows up in a certain area (I think one is a DFA area?). I have NEVER been able to find these players anywhere and I think I have clicked on all the available options on the roster screen AND looked in all of the minor league teams.

I always have to go to the message announcing the signing or trade and click on the player's 'hot link' and assign him somewhere.

For your DFA - go to your transactions tab, then where all your teams/40 man are listed, select one of the drop downs. You'll see a choice for DFA.

Did that for traded players and new draftees (which they say is in your lowest classification's DFA)....the box comes up blank. (see attachment)

Are they ML or minor league players? Minor league contract players are often placed directly in the minors.
Most draftees are assigned directly to your Organizations Lowest Minor League level.

It is the free agents I sign and the guys I trade for.

They are NOWHERE to be found.

All these problems like this that I am seeing have really gotten to me...just one after another. The ones related to game play have been resolved.

I had one option - Extend a contract. Was it minor or major? I assume major

Question # 2....no....I guess I will try that tomorrow, because in my 1977 league, I deleted two teams prior to starting (and all the players became free agents),

Now I am getting error messages saying that the Yankees (one of the teams) has 0 players. Well..................duh.................

I hope install works...tired of 'blowing' a whole day on this game. I thought it was supposed to be fun, not buggy. Heck, it IS version 14.

Sorry...just not in a good mood right now

This is a Ghost Players thing, there is an option to allow incomplete rosters.
