Young players dont improve

I play as Avalanche and Duchene, Landeskog, Mackinnon and O´Reilly have improved on only one season.

But i have players like Chris Bigras who have 7.5a potential and 5.5a ability. He have had it like that for 2 seasons and doesnt improve even though he gets many skill points improvements every month.

Now i am entering my third season and Bigras still have 5.5a ability.

Why doesnt he improve?

There's a bug preventing your own team's ability ratings from updating properly right now. If you were to resign from the team, you'd see a more accurate number for him (save the game under a different name before you do that, though, so you've still got the original save to return to.) We're working on a patch for that and a few other problems that have been identified.

But they are definitely improving.

I haven't checked it with the new patch, but I found when I was playing a CHL game, the player ratings weren't updating either. However, when I went to "Edit Player", changed nothing, and hit "Save", sometimes the new overall rating and potential rating would update as well.

Yes, this works as workaround.
