Exiting Real-Time Simulation Mode

I'm not new to the game but this seems like a good place for this question...

I'm guessing that somehow my league is in real-time simulation mode - during my playoffs - because when I manually play out the afternoon game, as soon as I finish I see that the evening game has also completed. How do I get out of this mode?

I think you want to set this to "No" in pre-game options, and it's sticky meaning the setting will stay that way for future games.
