Player Creation Modifiers

This is what I want to know, can OOTP 14 have the same player creation modifiers as OOTP 11 or 12?

They all say "1.000" but there is clearly as difference. In 11 or 12, there were always a few players that would be quick to the MLB type of guys, I always liked that, even though it wasn't as realistic. Now though, in 13 and 14, that pretty much never happens.

Is there anyway I could change the OOTP 14 PCM's to match that of OOTP 12?

Like change the "1.000" to like "1.050" so I get the same type of draft pool as OOTP 12?

If this was possible, I would love every new version of OOTP even more!

PCM's have nothing to do with how quick or slow players reach the majors.

They will affect the quality of created players. There's never any guarantee that a stud will get to the majors quicker, same as there's never any guarantee that a scrub won't reach the majors at all.

If you want players getting to the majors quicker, adjust your Batter and Pitcher Development speed. Default is 1.000. Up or down to speed up or slow down development.

I know that, but in OOTP 12, there were quite a few players who went straight to the big leagues every season. That's what I'm looking for?

That's luck of the draw as far as I know. I see a few players in the draft every so often who are already quite well along in development. No more or less than any other version.

You can control the amount of potential stars in your draft class, but you can't control how far along they are in development. At least not that I'm aware of.

You may want to try feeders to see if you get more players who are already well developed.

The other option is to create players for your draft class. During creation you can determine their level of development. Go to the FA screen, use the "Create Fictional Player" option. You can decide how well developed they will be, what position, age, whether they are amateur, eligible to be drafted, etc etc. You can create one or many at one time.

I ran a test sim in OOTP 14 trying a lot of different things, but nothing gives me what I'm looking for.

So what I decided to do is just run a sim in OOTP 12 for draft pool guys, then I'm going to find the most advanced guys and re-create them in OOTP 14 draft pool each year.

I don't like feeders in a modern MLB setup, I only like feeders in fictional leagues.

I've used the "Create Fictional Player" option before, but never for something like this, I'll see what I can do with it.
