Creating a league to rival MLB
Is it possible to create a league that can rival MLB? Say I use the MLB quickstart, can I create another league and have it eventually surpass the MLB? (Kinda comparable to the WHA/NHL, but actually being sucessful)
If it is possible, any advice, tips, tricks, etc. is more than welcome. |

Easiest scenario to be done.
You can even have them play a super-World Series if you want.

I hope that it isn't too hard to get players to sign in both leagues. I would love to see an MLB team offer a guy a million a year but he'd rather play in the new league for 1.5 million or something along those lines. I would assume that teams would not automatically move from league to league however. (Say the struggling Marlins decided this new league offered a better chance to make more money or something like that.) |

You can move the Marlins if you want to. Just beware the league history being screwed up.
