Editing/adding player stats onto player's stats

Hello. I would like to know how to manually add or edit stats on a player's "batting stats" or "pitching stats" page. I had another baseball simulation game and would like to transfer them onto ootp. Is this possible and, if so, how do you it? Thank you.

First, go to League Setup and click on Export Stats. This will export all hitting, pitching, and fielding stats into text files in the import/export folder in your saved game's folder in My Documents. (I'm assuming you're using a PC?) Then you open those text files with Excel. Also, open the other sim's stats file sin Excel and rearrange their column headings to match those in the OOTP stat exports. Then you can copy and paste from the other sim's exports to the OOTP exports. You'll have to change team and player IDs in the OOTP exports to match up with the other sim's exports but that shouldn't take too long. Once you're done, save the OOTP stat export files as .CSV files in the same import/export folder and then go back to League Setup and click on Import Stats. That should do the trick for you.

I don't have the other game's stats on file (Season Ticket Baseball). Is there a way to manually add the stats for each player?

Yeah. You'll still have to export the stat files from OOTP into Excel and then manually enter the stats into their proper headings. Save the OOTP exports as .CSV files and re-import.
