Perfecto!
I've been playing OOTP for about 45 seasons now, and this is the first perfect game anybody on one of my teams has ever pitched - I've only seen maybe 4 or so of them in the majors, period, in that time.
![]() Any perfect game boxscores to post? Especially if you've had more than one, which would be even more impressive. |

So...are you going to build his statue in left field or right field?

Not sure...but the way he's going so far, he's going to get his number retired in OOTP15, anyway. Sadly, he's pretty much the only good starter I've developed in my minors/international complex in the 12-year history of my league. Seems like my minors only churn out middle infielders, for some reason.
First six seasons:

I've had numerous historical leagues and believe me, perfect games are hard to come by even then
I think I had 1 from 1901 to 1950 Many no hitters though, but only one perfecto

If only the second one was an away game.
(Anyone who's not a Whovian is probably confused at what that could possibly mean.) |

Poor Patrick Troughton, my usual catcher, had the day off for both of these. I'm guessing Will likes having the War Doctor behind the plate, though!

I once had a league that lasted from 1961 to 1989, only 3 perfect games. I had a few pitchers with multiple no-hitters - Nolan Ryan pitched three, if I remember correctly, Dave Stieb had two, Matt Keough had a perfect game and a no-hitter - but this is the first time I've ever seen anybody with more than one perfecto in his career. Gotta be up there with the four-homer game (which I've STILL never seen in any of my leagues) for OOTP rarities.

I just had a pitcher throw a no hitter. Although he didn't allow any runs, the game didn't count in his stats as a shutout.

In my first season watching my manager control the in-game action of my Denver Crush, I had a big free agent signing get hurt for a couple months after struggling a bit in April and May.
It was now the last game of the regular season and his second start back off the DL. We were headed to the playoffs for the first time in the team's 20 year history (simmed first 20 years before taking control). Going into the game, my rotation was looking decent, but I wanted to see if this guy would make my playoff roster as my #3 guy since only my #1 and #2 were the only studs on the staff. So he started the final game with me basing my postseason staff on his performance. PERFECTO! An 88 pitch, 3 strikeout masterpiece. Only 9 batters saw a 2-ball count. Needless to say, he was bumped to my #3 spot on our way to the World Series win. A real fun story that made that signing worth every penny. |

Because of OOTP development a never has been in Red Durrett became my 1st player to hit 4 HRs in a game, I was estatic..then Ralph Kiner did it 2 years later Rube Waddell is usually the guy with multiple no hitters for me, and then it's Bob Feller...rare for anyone else to get more than 2 I think fictional leagues get the upper hand here, and I am thinking it's because of the default range factor and high error rate that early baseball imports with...I will have to raise range and lower errors this next go
