Faster way's of adding free agents or cloned players
Unless I'm doing something wrong-I can only add one free agent to a team at a time. I would like too see if you could mark players that you would like too add to a team and do it in one step rather than doing it one player at a time because that can be very time consuming.
I just added 8 free agents to the Los Angeles Bulldogs and it took 10-12 minutes. If I could one click the 8 players would probably only take 2 minutes. Cloning players? If I want three cloned Willie Mays on one team it takes forever to find them because they all go to the free agent list. If I wanted them to go on one team seems like there should be an easier way of doing it(like the same as free agents). Last edited by Orioles1966; 01-26-2014 at 12:23 PM. |

If you are looking at the free agents list, you can absolutely add multiple players to one team at one time. Just select the multiple players via the little circle to the left of the players' names. Once you've chosen the players you want, then right click over the name of any one of the selected players, and a pop-up will appear, with one of the options being "sign players." Select that. Update: No can do. It lists Shortlist players;clone players, retire players or delete players. No signing players. Maybe because I play in commish mode? Last edited by Orioles1966; 01-26-2014 at 02:18 PM. |

I play in commish mode all the time. But before I do this (sign multiple FA's), I must first select the team I wish to "act as." That's on the Manager Menu, under Advanced, lower right.

I tried it that way and all I get is offer minor league contract. I do have a minor league w/o affliations (I do assign players). My goal is to get 5-10 free agents and assign them to teams that have few reserve players. Looks like it's back too the old way of doing things.

If that's the case, I wouldn't know if you could temporarily disable financials in order to mass-sign FA's, without screwing things up. If you try that, definitely backup your game first... (Might wanna wait a bit tho to see if someone with more knowledge in this area responds.) |
