PLEASE include the batters babip stat

Preferably on the player profile, just like the pitchers babip.

Can't wait for the game!

Edit: Just thought of something else that could be useful: When looking at players career stats on their profile, it would be cool to see only the stats between certain dates (ex: a player has played from 1995 to 2012, it would be cool to see his stats totals only from between 2000 and 2010). This way I can look at how players performed during only their peak years.

I second this, and would also like to bring up the inclusion of IRS% for pitchers.

Just like batters' BABIP, it's already calculated in the game (in the box score), but not listed on the stats pages.

Regarding BABIP, I posted this in the OOTP 14 forum before I saw this thread:

BABIP is not being calculated correctly by OOTP right now, as sacrifice flies are not included in the formula like they are supposed to be.

Correct BABIP calculation:

(H - HR) / (AB - HR - K + SF)

The calculation OOTP is using:

(H - HR) / (AB - HR - K)

So, BABIPs are a little inflated, moreso for some than others, depending on how many sac flies are involved.
