Question about team weaknesses

When scouting for other teams to trade with - what's a better tool to use? The MLB->Positional Strength/Weakness Report, or the trade screen which has OSA telling you what each teams strengths/weaknesses are?

And I'm pretty sure I know what two of these three things mean, but... I'd like to confirm it with other people

Team ranking - the ranking of the players on the MLB team at the position
Organizational Ranking - I'm not really sure what this one is?
Overall Ranking - A ranking combining the other two.

I actually look at contending team, and got through their roster. I find the trade indicators are wrong, as it looks at who is currently on 25man (so if someone is on DL it AI thinks there is a major weakness, even if they come back tomorrow), it also looks at assign position- for example all my OF are CF by trade, so AI thinks there is a weakness at LF and RF (even though I have gold glovers).

this way I make sure I really address the AI control teams weakness in any trade, and not weakness in the program...

Well, this is a first for me. I feel absolutely sick to my stomach after trading away d'Arnaud and Wheeler, but it had to be done

Neither was interested in negotiating extensions with me, and I was up against a payroll cap thanks to the cheapskate Wilpons. I netted 5 prospects in the deals, but I still feel absolutely sick.

The team ranking does not rank all the players on major league teams at each position, but just the top player at each position on each team.

The organizational one does the same but only using the top prospect at each position.

One of the things I have asked for is to fix the positional strength as it applies to pitchers. Seeing you have the fifth best ace isn't as helpful as how your whole rotation ranks. The same goes for bullpens.

I feel your pain... I had to trade Hamels away to balance the books. Near broke my heart.
