lineups keep reverting to old setup

Hello all. First time buyer of OOTP, avid Strato boardgame, online, and replay veteran. I am having a problem with my lineups. I change them, but then next time I go into the screen, they are reverted back to the original lineup I used. I don't see any sort of "save" button. What am I doing wrong? Looked in manual, but don't see answer. Thanks for your help.

Are you controlling the team for which you changed the lineup? If not, the AI manager has changed it back.

OK, two more things. In Manager Options, Team Control Settings, are you or the AI/Computer in charge of Setting Lineups/Depth/Pitching Staff? Also, did you set up 7-Day Lineups (Team Menu, Lineups & Depth Charts, 7-Day Lineups) and leave them activated?

You may want to try this out:

1. Play in Commissioner Mode

2. Check Prevent any roster AI changes

3. Uncheck Commissioner Mode (Refer to Step 1)

Even if you are the manager, you have to make sure you didn't delegate the responsibility under the Team Control setting like this:

If you delegate your organization's Minor League Lineups/Depth/Pitching to Minor League Managers, can you force them to use 6 man rotations?

Good question. You might be able to force that by going to the Strategy settings for the minor league(s) (Game Setup, League Setup, Strategy), selecting the minor league(s) in the drop-down window in the upper right, and choosing 6 man-rotation in Typical Starting Rotation Size. I tried it just now after delegating Minor League Lineups/Depth/Pitching to my Minor League Managers and the rotation size option was still available and selectable. Notice, though, that it says "Typical" which means it may not be respected in all situations, such as a shortage of starting pitching on the minor league club.

I would assume that would change it for the whole league, though. I just wanted to force my organization's minor league teams to use a 6 man.

You missed the part about selecting the league. The one in the example is a AAA minor league. I am assuming that the setting is individual to each league selected in that drop-down menu.
