Deleting FA's
I'm playing MLB quick start and the draft is default to 80 rds which is a LOT, so after one full season I had 4,000 FA's!!! Everytime I clicked on FA tab it was slow loading. Long story short, I deleted about 1,500 bottom tier FA's to clear out the clutter.
my question would be has/does anyone else do this and is there any long term affects to player talent in doing so.

i Retire them, not delete. and actually i do random purge not only the bottom, to maintain a distribution... only problem i got at one point, was that my league ran out of catchers in FA pool, so now my retirement purges are done by position.

I've run a couple leagues off the quickstart and never had an 80-round draft or enough players generated for 80 rounds. Are you sure you didn't change something?

Same here. The draft in the quickstart defaults to 30 rounds. If yours is at 80 it must've been something you accidently changed, it didn't come that way out of the package.

If you are looking to thin out the free agent pool but are worried about taking too many players from a certain position or whatnot, set up a custom filter of something really generic, like "first name" "contains" "e" or something like that.
