Crash when drafting, is there a work around?
Nevermind, the fault was on my side. Once I enabled a feeder league the draft was held, though no one was taken in the first round. I will play around with it some more to see what happens.
Hi all, I'm posting this because I thought maybe someone could provide a way of getting around this issue. I tried searching "crash when drafting" and some other crash related strings but didn't find any results that helped. The application stops responding when I'm trying to simulate the amateur draft via the "Play" button. When I to the League Menu and select "First Year Player Draft" from under "Special Events" the draft screen loads, but once I hit "Continue draft" the application crashes immediately. I am unable to proceed unless I manually move back the draft date from the league rules screen. I have tried changing the number of rounds and number of players generated to no avail. I'm not sure what else I can change. Details: - In season 5 of my league, have not had a draft since season 1. In Season 2 the draft was skipped for unknown reasons. After consulting the forums I found that if I tweaked the date that it would add the draft back into the schedule. This was successful but I encountered these issues when trying to run the first draft after the date tweak. - Have pushed the draft through three seasons now (am on season 5). - 12 team regional league - Originally set to a 5 round draft with players for 9 rounds, changed to 4 round draft with 8 rounds of players generated. - League has expanded prior to season 4 and season 5 (the current season). - No minor league system at all, each team has a 15 man reserve. Not sure where to go from here.. Thanks, Geoff Last edited by jefepwnzer; 12-31-2013 at 09:06 PM. Reason: Partially figured it out |

Always good when a guy finds the answer to his posted problem and comes back to record the resolution. Thanks.
