Frustration with the minors
I know some have mentioned the completely unrealistic minor league stats (sorry, but a league average 5 and a half ERA is unreasonable) and fixing it, but the fix has never worked for me. Unfortunately it completely kills the immersion factor for me - I like building organizations, and it's just not possible to do that as is.
Has there been a more permanent fix for this other than spending 45 minutes manually resetting each league (which again, does not work for me despite trying 5-7 times)? Has somebody created a quick start which automatically resolves the issue? I love this game, but I just can't get into it. I'm glad to continue supporting the OOTP team and they'll be getting my money for OOTP 15 regardless, but without a resolution here I'm going to have to return to OOTP 13 and wait it out for the next version. |

i understand the issue, and yes it is annoying, but why does it take you 45 minutes to reset? i just go through each league during the offseason and reset factors by pressing Restore Default for any league where the PB factor has gone over 2. it takes me about one minute to go through the whole system... |

My thoughts are,Minor league stats are relevantly irrelevant. The best Pitcher in the league is the best Pitcher whether his ERA is 2.5 or 4.5.
If the League Ave is 5.5 then a Pitcher with a 4.5 ERA is Awesome and one with a 6.5 ERA sucks in the same manor that if the League AVE ERA is 4.5 a 3.5 is great and a 5.5 sucks. You have to take the minor league stats in the context of the individual league as a whole. The Batting stats are the same to me. The Best hitter is the best Hitter, doesn't matter if he hits .300 or .380 it is only good or bad with it's relevance to the league Average. When I started looking at Minor League Stats this way it became a lot easier to deal with the so called "System Shock" I hope you either get your files to produce the stats you prefer or learn to accept the stats as they are produced, cause I know it is a Better game when you feel connected. Good Luck

quick question about the issue,
if you don't adjust the factors in one league are the ERA+ and OPS+ based on these results. ie. if my HR multiplier is 10, will a player with 30 HR be considered below average and have an OPS+ below 100 |
