Extensions

According to my finances, I have 3.9m available for extensions. First off, I am not sure where that number comes from as on my salaries page I only have 102.5m committed to next season. That should leave me with 7.5m for extensions in our league which has a $110m cap. On my Available funds section it shows my projected payroll for next season as 106m....not sure where the extra 3.5m is coming from when compared to my salaries page.

Second issue....ok, so I only have 3.9m for extensions. When I try and offer an extension to a player, the 'submit offer' button is greyed out. I can't even offer a player 1 year at $1m. Button is still greyed out. If I have 3.9m for extensions, then why am I not allowed to make an extension of less then that??

Thoughts?

Re: the "Submit" button being greyed out...did you hit "Ask for a Response" first?

I'll take a stab at this one and speculate that there is enough of a chance to mention it that if you look at your salary page, you'll find a player that is listed for next season as making league minimum, when in fact he is slated to be awarded an arbitration amount that effectively accounts for your discrepancy there.

A simple guess at the possible problem, but a somewhat educated one.
