Which rosters?

I'm new to ootp and from mlb the show im used to download custom made rosters which are known to be much better than the default ones. is it the same with ootpb?

The short answer to your question is nope That used to be the case as of a couple years ago but it's not anymore.

Though I do say so myself as part of the OOTP roster team, the default MLB quickstart rosters are now the best MLB-Milb rosters you'll ever find for any baseball game! We spend literally thousands of hours on them, making sure that ratings and info are accurate as possible for even the most insignificant rookie league players.

The rosters are good enough now that you won't find anyone making real life MLB roster mods on the boards here. There's really just no need to do so.

You can download our Sept 1st update though, which adds all transactions through Sept 1st, add many new players to the draft as well as many more international players, both as unsigned fa's and in their teams complexes.
