Cool A simple answer please...

Okay...I saw how people told the guy that wanted CSV export/import in version 5...so I want an answer to. I don't want another one of my threads to turn into a discussion on batting averages and strikeouts...or answers like..."Let's just say the Almanac is impressive"

Yes or No?

In version 5 will I be able to click something that will list previous champions...

1904 New York Yankees
1905 New York Yankees

and/or Cy Young winners

1904 Roger Smith
1905 Joe Green

FPS fans have been asking for this forever...now is the time for all this to end with a simple "Yes...it is finally here!"

Someone end the madness!

You know, I'd have to say that clutch hitting is a measurable effect.

NO

(please keep in mind I am not a beta tester, nor associated with .400 Studios in any way. If I am wrong, someone will undoubtedly correct me).

Hey...that is a good plan. Reverse Psychology...I have a good feeling about this thread. This is going to be the thread that finally ends all arguments.

People will learn to love sound...

People will agree that clutch hitting is not worth fighting about...

Dogs and cats will get along...

All will be right with the world and I will finally get my answer.

FPS sucked. Who is still playing that anyway? Loser! What next? You want a friggin converter? No! Markus can't waste his time on that.

Instead, you should spend all your free time for the last 2 months in converting every stats you have from FPS (and Micro League Baseball before that) into a Lahman style DB and then importing those stats into OOTP. And if your FPS league was beyong 2001, then you'll have to manually import all 5000 players who have ever existed in your league. One by one. And then when you're finally done after 2+ months, you realize OOTP5 is coming out and you don't know whether to stay with 4 or not.

And while I'm at it, I like cheese, too.

It is not there YET. But, it's on the "will be in if enough time, otherwise in an update"-features-list

But something even better is already there... the almanac. Wanna see how your backup SS 27 years ago hit vs. LHP? It's there...

Thanks Markus. Now, can we please get back to the debate of Linear Weights vs. Win Shares?!

Ok, here's a quick question while you're on Markus...

This almanac...will it work if we have past seasons played? For instance, if I convert my 102-year league to OOTP5, will all 102 years be in the almanac? Or will it just work from the time I convert?

Peace
John

I guess that sounds like a pretty definitive answer...not as good as a yes...but close enough for now.

Well...I hope you don't forget about it.

OK Mr. B--

You got me all twisted up with that sly Cy Young reference; do we know one another?
