Shift Columns Around?

Is there any way to shift the columns around?

For example, it's possible to set up a pitcher view that sets the current and potential value of pitch ratings side by side, but I cannot find a way to do it with batting ratings.

What, if anything, am I missing? Seems like it would be nice to be able to do that, especially for people managing minor league players.

Just fired up my game and it seems like you can't move around columns. Would be a nice option for next year, as I agree with you on how I can see it being useful

You can setup customized views so you can have ratings and stats on the same screen. I use this mostly in the Lineups and Pitching screen.

Anyway, it's in the top left side of the screen (but underneath the tabs). Here, this'll explain it: Out of the Park Baseball Manual

Yeah, you can't move columns, but you can customize your views on many of the tabs. I'd link to the manual, but I haven't posted here enough to get past moderation apparently.

Anyway, the OOTP 14 online manual has a section in Interface and Controls titled Views, which describes how to customize them.

This will allow you to do things like show ratings coupled with stats. I'm a huge fan of this as I can get the hitting stats I truly want (wOBA, ISO, etc.) along with fielding ratings or stats. One stop shopping, as it were.

I think I first posted the text below in 2003..

It would be great if all of the screens where the players were listed were a more adaptable grid control -- for example, I could right click on the header row and add or remove columns from the list, I could change the columns widths or re-order the columns, I could click on the columns and sort. That way, rather than having predefined views (as is the case on some pages) I would create my own views and save them to use anywhere. In theory this grid control would only need to be developed once and then could be placed throughout the game.
