Did You Know?...
In the ABL, the Chicago Pirates, a team without a real star and a team predicted to finish last in the AL, has taken over the AL lead on September 9, 2003. I did some research for an article about them, and the last time the Pirates were in last place by themselves this late in the season was September 9, 1981. That squad went on to win the ABLCS.
This, to me, is one of the more interesting factoids you can find in a league. That brings me to a question: What interesting stuff does your league have along these lines? Just small stuff that would normally get looked over, but is really neat all the same? Peace John |
