is there a way to start my minor league earlier?
I'm using a standard MLB quick start. 8 years in now. so now obviously i want to start changing stuff that bugs me, but keep with the set up before I go into deeper development :-)..
I understand the limitation of Spring Training where only 40-man roster players are allowed, and am willing to play with that. However the problem i'm getting is that my AAA and AA teams don't start their schedule until 2 weeks into the season. so if i want a prospect to learn a new position i can't have them play. Can i easily force the minors to start earlier, at least at same time as majors? (there's also problem that the AAA playoff now goes into late september, and not wanting to upset the affiliates i get delayed in my call-ups) |

During the off-season, you can go into League Setup -> Options and force a Season Start Date. Regenerate the schedule after that and you should be good to go.
Note that you might need to be in commissioner mode for this, I'm not 100% positive. |

thanks i'll try at the end of the season. Does the start have to be after the start on the Majors, or could i somehow use this to have my top level rookies start early?.
is this something that gets changed for the whole future, or will i have to do this every year? |

No need for commissioner mode.
