Adding Minor League teams to a league.

I've started a league BUT haven't drafted yet, I'm adding logos & Jerseys to the league right now, it's a custom league & I though I wouldn't add the minor leagues but I've change my mind, can I add them now before I draft players or do I have to restart the league/game

Make sure you do it BEFORE you draft. Reserve roster players will get stuck in "limbo" if you do it after the draft.

This can easily be avoided by setting the active and secondary roster to a higher amount than 25/40, then adjusting back to 25/40 (or whatever preferred happens to be) after.

Which would mean waiver wire hell, wouldn't it? I'm not disabling the secondary roster if it's avoidable.

Disable it? Who said to disable it?

It's a real simple process. Let's say I have a 25 man active roster, 40 man secondary, and a 30 man limit on my reserve roster.

I change the active roster limit to 50. The AI will move every player from the reserve up to the active roster. It happens, you don't need to do anything.

Now my reserve roster is empty.

I add my minor leagues that I want.

Disable waivers and change the active back to 25. The AI will then move enough players to the minors to get back to 25.

All done, never lost a player to limbo from the reserve roster because nobody was on it.

I did this all in the same day.

Any time you're getting rid of the reserve roster to add minors, you should always clear the reserve roster of players first, regardless when you do it.
