delete players

Hi all, back to OOTP 14 after a several year absence (OOTP 10 or 11). WOW have things changed!!! I found some references in the forums that instruct you to "take a pre-fab MLB setup (like the quickstart that comes with the game), take steps to release all real players, delete them, restock teams with fictional players, and schedule a draft".

How exactly to you delete the players? I found the buttons to release them from teams into the F/A pool and to restock with fictional players, but I can't seem to find the button or method to delete them all.

Two options

Go to FA Page - at the bottom is a button "Delete all Free Agents".

Click it - poof, they're gone.

Go to "List all Players Page"

Use mass select to select all players.

Right click on any of selected players - choose "Delete players".

Click button - poof, they're gone.

Note - do NOT use option two if you've already filled your teams. If so, all those players will be deleted too.

Ideally, you should release all players, then do your delete before filling teams with fictional players.

Thanks much for the very quick reply. I knew from the past it was there somewhere, just couldn't locate it.
