This from the iOOTP 11 on-line manual:

"You have to be careful with this kind of thing in iOOTP because morale is an important part of the game. As in real life, lousy morale can not only affect that player’s performance but also the entire team’s play."

Has anyone seen an example of this phenomenon in their game?

Nope. The only bad thing to me about player morale, is if you have an angry player they won't negotiate a contract with you. Until you get to free agency, then they forget anything ever happened and are free to negotiate anything.

I think an angry player performs worse than a normal or happy player.

If you have an angry player that wants to start, but won't because he plays like crap, he will continue to play like crap.

It wouyld be helpful if this could be confirmed or denied ... LOL.

I mean, it would be a great aspect in the game if it was implemented, but I have had angry players bat .300+ and play the bench, and still want to play for me the following year when their contract funs out.

So maybe this is a feature, but it was enver turned "on?"
