Past Transaction Logs for team
If I'm running a team in a solo league, where can I find the transactions from past years? I just turned the almanac on, not sure what I need it to capture but don't really need box scores or logs. Just something I can refer to in future years to track success of trades etc.

You can go to your League History - I don't recall if transactions are broken down by team, but each year's transactions should be archived there regardless of your almanac settings.
I don't have the game handy to tell you exactly how to get there - I'll post back later when I do (unless someone else beats me to it). |

OK - if you only care about *your* transactions, you can go to:
Manager Menu -> Your History (under Info & Tools). There's a "GM Transactions History" tab. If you want to see other teams' transactions: League Menu -> League History Index. Click on a League for a particular year and just above the standings you'll see a link to a transaction log for the whole league. Or click on a team and just above the team's stats you should see a link for a Transaction Log for just that team. Note that there's a small bug with History - you won't be able to see any transactions that happened between the end of an offseason and January 1st of the following year (so basically October through December). The data is on your hard drive, but because OOTP archives transaction logs at the end of every offseason (and not every calendar year), transactions for say, November 1950 are actually in the 1951 archive. But if you're looking at 1951 transactions and click on the "Nov 1950" month, you'll get a blank page because I *believe* it's looking in the 1950 transactions archive by mistake. Hope this helps. |

Even though the data is there, to be able to see it easily (either via the game or via a web browser) you end up having to do a yearly almanac on December 31st. The almanac will have the transactions from start of the offseason to December 31st only, and the league history will have all the rest. |
