Off Topic: Don Mattingly made a terrible mistake

By starting CK on 3 day rest, he basically gave Atlanta the chance of facing a weaker version of Kershaw instead of going with another starter and saving CK for game 5 and pretty much securing a win..... not to mention that he could have secure Kershaw for Game 1 on the NLS.....

Not a fan of Mattingly, but since my Yankees our out, I hope is the Pirates vs Oakland in the WS.

Aww geez why did you mention the Yankees? I thought you were quite likable. Now you're just another Damn Yankee fan like Deja Bru.

I was born and raised a Red Sox fan on the outskirts of Boston. Yet I root for the Rays. You have no excuse.

On-topic, I completely agree. Didn't make a lick of sense.

My earliest years was spent in a small town called, Sudbury ... then later years, roaming around Charlestown, as a Southie ... seen plenty of Fenway, as well as, the Cape Cod league ...Later, I settled down and had a gym in Marlboro, off of Rt 20 ...

Kimbrel should've been pitching in the 8th, I saw him in the bullpen mouthing the words "I'm mad cause I told him if he wants me in after the 7th I'm good." Or something along those lines. Oh well, worked out for Dodgers.

Except most managers, when in the post-season, realize that there is no tomorrow if you don't win today. More than a few teams have blown a series because they were more worried about the next game instead of the current one.

Not standing up for Mattingly, just throwing out another perspective.

How can you be a Yankee rooter and not be a fan of Mattingly.....only player they've had in 50 years worth liking.....

Rivera's a pitcher, not a player, and I like him too, as long as we don't learn that his prolonged career was chemically extended......Jeter was a heck of a player, but there is something missing in his character......it's probably just that he's too pretty to really like.....

So based on your Jeter comments, I take it you're a huge fan of guys like Ron Karkovice and Verne Ruhle?

I like Granderson, too. I know he hasn't been a Yankee for long (and maybe not much longer), but he seems like a class act all the way.
