Shop Players around - statistics

Whenever I am shopping one of my players around, I would love to see statistics of players being offered by other teams so I can see a short glimpse of the player's production. It would help me better decide who I should go for since I do not use the overall potential ratings right now. Yes I know I can just click on the player to see his stats profile but it would be more convenient to see a small statistic sampling in the players being offered by other teams screen.

Yes please. Just a dropdown menu that allows the user to choose between ratings and stats, just like it works in a bunch of other screens.

Definitely a good idea. Shop players in general probably needs improvement (option to shop a player for draft picks!).

Draft pick trading should be removed from the game as it is an abomination......(besides the fact that the AI undervalues the)......

Draft pick trading is not optimal as implemented, as the ai does undervalue picks, but it's nice to have this included for fictional leagues and for those who like it.

That's one of OOTP's biggest selling points, its customization options. I really don't think it's a good idea to start talking about taking features away unless there's some genuinely pressing reason to do so.

I want to be able to select up to three players and shop them all in one trade, seeing what kind of package deal other teams will offer. There is a Playstation 3 game, NBA 2K13 that allows you to search for package deals and the AI will offer package players back.

Also a quality idea.

That said, relatively unrelated to the idea as it applies to OOTP, in the NBA that feature matters more because of the salary cap in place on top of the 100% guaranteed contracts. If you're over the salary cap, you can't take on money in a trade, and you can't take on enough money in a trade to put you over said salary cap. Multiple players often need to be swapped just to make the numbers work out and make the trade viable.

Edit: I wasn't trying to say your idea isn't good for OOTP, because it's fantastic.

I think the AI overvalues draft picks most of the time. Sometimes, just to get the fifth overall pick, the AI has asked me for at least five players, all highly rated, and two or three high draft picks just to get the one pick.
