Real Stadium Pictures

Okay, so I'm in the process of tracking down real pictures for all MLB parks, aiming to get as close as I can to the style of the default picture that comes with the game (straight-on from behind home plate, players on the field, foul poles either visible or just off-screen). What I've been doing is finding a new picture every time I need one in-game (so whenever I play a new road series), but for the purposes of this thread, I'll move a little bit faster in an attempt to get all 30 as soon as I can, and I'll post them here as I go along.

Naturally, some of the pictures won't fit all the criteria, but I'm happy with the ones I have so far. I've edited most of them in Photoshop to get them as close as possible to the default picture (to make editing the ball locations and player information as easy as possible).

Also, I will not turn away help with this. If you can find and post a picture that is usable, I will Photoshop it into position and add/replace it on the list.

EDIT: Pictures in this thread are to be used as previews (they will still work, but they're not as big as they should be). A .zip file will be posted within each division for downloading, and I'll add one to this post with all of them, when they're done.

AL EAST

ZIP FILE: http://www.mediafire.com/download/49...cpb/ALeast.zip

Camden Yards (Orioles):

Thanks to D-BacksJosh for this one. It was a little smaller than the pics I used for the others, so I had to enlarge it, but that should only affect the highest-resolution settings. Anyone using standard settings shouldn't see much of a difference.

Fenway Park (Red Sox):

Best one I could find. Unfortunately, the pitcher isn't on the mound, but otherwise it's almost perfect. Note the bottom of the picture: That strip of crowd is from another pic, and was added to pad the image out to the proper dimensions without ridiculously stretching it. A few of the pictures have this added.

Rogers Centre (Blue Jays):

Again, the bottom's a little off because I had to Photoshop in part of a different picture. If you're looking for perfection, sorry to disappoint you, but I feel like it looks good enough.

Tropicana Field (Rays):

This is from the Devil Rays era, but it was too perfect not to use. I colored in both the "TB" and the dugouts navy blue. I probably could have switched out the logos, but I didn't feel like it. I might do it at some point in the future, though.

Yankee Stadium (Yankees):

This was originally from a different angle, so I had to warp it in Photoshop. It looks good to me, but just fyi in case there's anything a little off.

AL CENTRAL

ZIP FILE: http://www.mediafire.com/download/0s.../ALcentral.zip

Comerica Park (Tigers):

Nothing notable with this one, looks good to me.

Kauffman Stadium (Royals):

Meh, the players are in a conference on the mound, and there's a prominent Astros logo in center field, but honestly, the rest of this pic was too good to not use.

Progressive Field (Indians):

Like Yankee Stadium, this one had to be warped in Photoshop to get the proper angle, so if something seems off, that's what it is.

Target Field (Twins):

This one has a kind of fish-bowl feel to it, and I'm not quite sure why.

US Cellular Field (White Sox):

Honestly one of the best ones of the set; very little editing was needed for it.

AL WEST

ZIP FILE: http://www.mediafire.com/download/b9...uiv/ALwest.zip

Angel Stadium (Angels):

Yeah, this one has a few "All-Star Game" logos scattered about the field, but it was the best picture I found, and a few of the others in the collection have "Opening Day" logos, anyway. Again, not trying for perfection, just the proper angle.

Minute Maid Park (Astros):

The angle for this one is very, very slightly off, but otherwise looks good.

O.Co Coliseum (A's):

I feel like I could have worked with the perspective on this one a bit more, but it still works as-is.

Rangers Ballpark (Rangers):

This photo was almost perfect. Hi-res and everything. I barely had to touch it.

Safeco Field (Mariners):

This one's from a panorama, so you can actually see where the two photos were pasted together (right down the middle of the field). But honestly, some of my own edits are more noticeable than that, so I don't think it's a big deal.

NL EAST

ZIP FILE: http://www.mediafire.com/download/6j...aur/NLeast.zip

Citi Field (Mets):

If anyone's got a better version of this one, I would appreciate it. The one I was able to find has the left field foul pole visible, but the right field one cut off. It's not unusable, but I don't like that.

Citizens Bank Park (Phillies):

Ignoring the line through the picture where I believe two photos were pasted together, this one's pretty good.

Marlins Park (Marlins):

This one's fairly awesome, not much wrong with it.

Nationals Park (Nationals):

Same as the Marlins'. I found some good ones for the NL East.

Turner Field (Braves):

If the outfield looks a little warped on this one, it's because it is. I had to alter the perspective a bit to get it to fit right. Also, I forgot to add a strip of crowd at the bottom - that will be fixed when I upload the entire collection.

NL CENTRAL

ZIP FILE: http://www.mediafire.com/download/6z.../NLcentral.zip

Busch Stadium (Cardinals):

I wish you could see the Gateway Arch in the background, but it's just not possible from the angle I need. Still a good pic.

Great American Ballpark (Reds):

Dear lord, it was surprisingly hard to even find this picture. Anyone have a better one? I'd much prefer one with players on the field.

Miller Park (Brewers):

Not a bad picture. A little off on the angle, but it's barely noticeable.

PNC Park (Pirates):

Another one that I'd like a better version of. The angle's very... meh. Even after trying to alter it. I think I might have made it worse. It works, though.

Wrigley Field (Cubs):

Nothing wrong here. There's no shortage of good pictures of Wrigley.

NL WEST

ZIP FILE: http://www.mediafire.com/download/j6...7bk/NLwest.zip

AT&T Park (Giants):

Oh man, did I have to play with this one over and over again to get it right. As such, it's pretty distorted, plus there's no players on the field. If anyone has a better version, please post it.

Chase Field (Diamondbacks):

Other than the giant Rafael Furcal in center field, this one's pretty awesome.

Coors Field (Rockies):

It's a little washed out in terms of color, but otherwise fine.

Dodger Stadium (Dodgers):

Pretty much perfect all around.

Petco Park (Padres):

I had to photoshop out a couple of fans in the front row; it's noticeable in spots, but the rest of the picture is great.

What resolution are these pictures? I was going to post one but can't get it copy and paste correctly. I could add as attachment but then would have to sacrifice resolution for file size.

Resolution varies; they were found off Google searches, so I took the best ones I could find in each case. They are all, however, sized to the same size as the default photo that comes with the game.

Well now, I didn't realize Photobucket would re-size my pictures on me. I'm really starting to hate that site.

What I'll do is, I'll continue to post images to this thread as previews, and upload a .zip file of them all for use.

When I copy and paste it just ends up a long post of jumbled letters and numbers. Not sure what that is all about.

Here is Coors, Miller and Progressive (although it still has Jacobs Field still painted above dugouts)

That Coors one is perfect, that'll definitely be used. I already have Progressive. And Miller is alright, but the angle's slightly off. I'll have to look around and see if I can't find a better one.

The AL Central is almost ready to go, but first I want a quick opinion. I've got two versions of Kauffman Stadium here. The first one is great, but it has a row of fans half-blocking home plate. The second one is also good, but the players aren't in their proper positions, and the Astros logo is very prominent in center field. So both have their flaws. Which do you guys like?

Best of both worlds? I did my best to splice the two images together. It's noticeable (there was a huge color difference), but I figured I'd give it a shot.
