Editing players past/career stats

Sorry everyone who is sick of me all my threads, but you guys have been most helpful!

So here is what I am trying/would like to do.

The Tigers put Prince Fielder on waivers... ended up trading him to the Blue Jays for Jose Reyes and some junk 1/2 star potential prospect.

I manually traded the players right back and I edited their history where it listed the trades... I deleted it. My problem is before I realized this had happened both Fielder and Reyes played 3 games a piece for Toronto and Detroit respectively.

So when you go into their stats it shows those games in which they played on their "new club". I would like to take the results from those three games and just add it onto there previous team as if they played those games with the team they were on, and then delete the line in the stats that shows the 3 games for Toronto or Detroit. It is just such a stupid trade I could not let this one happen.

So is it possible to do what I am trying to do? I went to my saved game folder seeing if there was player files with stats that I could open and edit but I am having a hard time here!

Someone with better knowledge then me on this subject will be more helpful....That being said you can export your rosters, which means everyone. It dumps them into a file you can edit then re-import them. I have not had success editing players then re-importing them. League Setup - Functions? bottom right.

I just leave the stats alone. I use No Trade Clause for most of my custom players, which never seems to work. I have a few HOFers that played 2 games or 6 games with a team in another league and what not. I just deal with it.

You've been most helpful! I appreciate your responses in all of my threads

Yeah I suppose I can deal with it if it's to troublesome but I'd like to fix it. I'm such a nerd and OCD with those things haha. I'll go to the league setup and see what I find. If anyone else has knowledge on this feel free to chime in please!

You want to export stats (not rosters) and then edit them and then re-import them from the league setup page......

Is this fairly simple? And or a user friendly thing? New to the game as of 2-3 weeks ago so I'm still very green!

Go to League Setup and on the right hand side should be an option to export all stats as CSVs. These files will dump into your import/export folder. Open the stats files in Excel and add the stats from Toronto into Fielder's stats for Detroit. Do the same for Reyes (Toronto's stats, obviously) and then delete the stat lines you don't want. Save and re-import from League Setup. Should work like a charm.
