Ballpark Questions

Just wanted to collect some thoughts from all the OOTP players.

For the 30 MLB teams... what set of ballpark images does everyone use?

What is the "set name" that comes with the all in one add on?

For OOTP players that play fictional and or add expansion teams to the MLB where do you go to get your best fictional ballparks?

What are the best ballpark "sets" to use if you plan on expanding your league...and you want the images to all be uniform. Meaning YOu dont want 10 3d ballparks, with another 6 cartoon looking ones, and then the rest say just random google images...

Whats the best set to accurately display night vs day games?

Currently I am using whichever ones come with the all in one add on. For example I updated the Marlins logo/color scheme so is it possible to update that ballpark image so the field reflects the new logo?

If anyone has any links or anything to great sets let me know!

For most of my MLB I use MLB 2k10. My EBL is comprised of several different sets. I use as many of JRP parks that I can get.
http://www.ootpdevelopments.com/boar...ml#post3495493

I do use a few of the MLB 12 The Show. AI0 is The Show.
Monkeyfields has sopme cool parks also and these are what I will use for MLB expansion not counting JRP's Las Vegas park for my LV Aces.
all can be found on ootpmods.com except for the linked ones.
3 examples of parks i used that JRP made and kev24fan edited.
Mon Mothma Park - Endor City Capitals
Duff Stadium - Springfield Isotopes
Arsenal Park - Rock City Rockies/Rock City HS Tigers
This last one is from High Heat.

Not sure if you have been directed to it yet, but there are a lot of really good stadiums, jersey's, etc. available for download at OOTPMods.com.

Personally, I find every stadium pic myself on the internet. I am really picky when it comes to stadium pics. First they have to be real and not paintings or computer generated, they have to be at the right angle, with the right amount of people on the field and have good clarity and resolution. I have also created fictional leagues where I have used real life minor league or college ballparks as their stadium pics.

I have been directed to there but its hard to browse by just seeing text and not actual examples. I am picky like you... any chance you could share the ones you've collected?

I love the style of that first one... that says Molson on the scoreboard and Toros on it as well... do they have those for the 30 MLB teams?

The first one is just Olympic Stadium, I removed the Expos logos with GIMP and replaced it with the ones you see, its pretty easy.

I'm in the process of finding real pictures for all MLB parks, trying for the style of the default picture that comes with the game (straight-on from behind home plate, players on the field, foul poles either visible or just off-screen). I should start a thread for it in the Mods forum.

DO IT! That would be pretty awesome I must say... theres gotta be some good high res shots from that position with most if not all of the criteria you (myself and many others) would like!

For most parks, yes. Some have been verrrrry difficult to track down.

Well if you start a thread and start posting them and maybe make a little list of ones needed I will try helping to track some down!

Indeed. Some parks are very hard to find a quality high res shot from directly behind home plate, such as Fenway.

I would be more then happy to post ones that I have on that thread also. I have found some good minor league and spring training ballpark images, maybe we could list those as well.

Hockey, what style do you prefer? Real or graphic?
What parks would you like to see for the graphic variety? i can post some more if you would like. i only use real parks in my eBL when I can not find a graphic park. I do use real parks for most of my historical leagues. i also like this set, forgot who made it but i have this file on mediafire.

It's a toss up... I like graphic I'd say... Like the one from D-BacksJosh's post with some of his samples... That first one that says molson on the scoreboard. I love that style if there is anything similar for the 30 MLB teams.

I do like real too but like Fyrestorm3 said, is like home plate include foul poles high res, etc.

I'd just like a uniform set. I think the graphic style of that molson on the scoreboard one is awesome! Because if I do league expansion or relocation I can have "fictional" parks.
