Overall Based on AI

If this is left "unchecked", how will the AI evaluate players? Only by ratings? Will it not take a player's performance into account at all?

My understanding is that it only effects the visual display of the star ratings, based upon whatever you have setup for the rating weights.

When it's not selected, the user will see stars that are based solely upon the players scouted ratings. When it is selected, the stars will take into account the players stats.

As far as I know (or have read anywhere), it has no bearing on the AI itself.

ok, so the AI will still use the evaluation settings, while I am seeing just the ratings..correct?

Yes, that's my understanding, it's strictly a cosmetic option for the user.

It can be fun to use for seeing how the AI may be viewing players in relation to each other. Sometimes those apparently questionable AI decisions make more sense when you see the overall ratings once they're taking the stat weights into account.

Ok...this is interesting....after much testing, I was beginning to suspect this (hence the question) but I do believe there may be a significant amount of people out there who may believe it's the way the AI evaluates players. (based on a lot of past threads on the subject)

can anybody confirm this for certain? Reason being, I have read elsewhere, that depending on your AI evaluation settings, this could/does have a profound impact.
