This is unbelievable. I am in the middle of writing an article about him for my uni, and I checked his Wikipedia page for his birth date to find out he has just died today.

Truly one of the great heavyweights who in a different era probably would have dominated. I still think that he beat Ali in their third fight, I don't care what anyone says.

Wow ... He was one of the best top fives Heavyweights during the 70s ... I would never forget, I believe, as one of the best HW Championship fights, was between Holmes and Norton !!! ... an EPIC 15 rounds Fight ... as well as, the Trilogy with Ali ... even with Foreman ... yike ...

I loved his unorthodox style ... reminded me a little bit of Archie Moore ... sheesh, RIP, mate

RIP Ken Norton! He was a great fighter and fun to watch. His style was definitely unique!

He died too young...it seems he was an all-around good guy and a very good boxer.

I always wondered why he never fought Joe Frazier, and I discovered today that they were good friends, both with Eddie Futch, and Frazier vowed he'd never fight him.
