Sophomore Jinx and Down and Out Goalies

So far from what I see almost every rookie progresses too much in his second season. What i'd like to see is many players except the exceptional ones with great character having a great second year. Expectations are normally high and more often than not in real life we see the same players struggle in their second year.

My second point is with the progression of goalies. Goalies these days can have a great year or two but then can just fall off the map. Some of the best ones stick around but many others can't regain their game or confidence. Many say it's because the players find out their weaknesses and capitalize on them but in the end it's the goalies inability to adapt and gain confidence in his abilities. I would really love to see the struggles goalies go through being the last guardian and I just don't see it yet.

Up and down (and a lot of times out) careers are quite common for goalies. Consistency makes a goalie number one.

Wrong spot d00d! There are no "goalies" in America's favorite pasttime!
