Longitude and Latitude?

I noticed when playing out a few games tonight that the times are all messed up. I.E. Some games are scheduled to start at 12:15 am CST. Also, out of town scoreboard will show a game in bottom of 8th (for example) but nothing will be shown in the linescore...all innings are blank. In searching for the problem, the only issue I could find is that all ballpark long/lat in my league are set at 000000000. I assume the game is having trouble assigning time zones but I'm not sure. Is there anything else that could be causing the strange times/linescores?

In terms of the start times, it could be your schedule file has the time zones built into its starting times, which means when the next season rolls around and OOTP scrambles the teams in the schedule slots you'll wind up with a double time zone correction.

To clarify further, the only thing that the game uses longitude and latitude for is for marking your ballparks in Google Earth, if you have that installed. It has nothing to do with schedules (or weather, for that matter).

So, along with what Scudworth said, it seems that this is probably the issue. Any way I can "fix" it? This is a league started in ver 13 with game generated schedules. What would cause this happen all of the sudden? Haven't had an issue like this before. Thanks...

It's also used for placing teams in east/west/north/south division alignments. At least that's what Andreas said.

Right, forgot about that.

Depends if there is really an issue with the schedule file. If you open it up in Notepad or Wordpad, check the start times column. The start times are in 24-hour format. A game-generated schedule should have start times around 1905 (7:05 pm). If you see some times markedly different from that, say, 2205, then the start times have had some sort of time zone correction applied to them. Ideally what you want is a schedule file with all the start times set to local values; OOTP then handles the time zone correction based on the co-ordinates of the host city. If instead the start times are all uniform, then something else is going on.

Conversion glitch? About the only thing I could guess.
