Brilliant idea hittith.
Suppose the Chicago Whales' contract with Walter Johnson (for the horrendous sum of $5,000) is consummated, and the Federal League survives. The reprcussions are rather odd, Keneshaw Mountain Landis will probably never be commissioner (having gained his fame ruling against the Federal League in 1916), so Heaven knows what happens to the MLB after that... But I'd say it's a fair guess that with 24 teams, expansion/team shift movements don't arise, and the Pacific Coast League gains major league status in 1960, setting up a World Series between the "Old" Champs (AL/NL) and the "New" Champs (FL/PCL). So the major leagues have 32 teams, and no one's really gonna want to expand much more. I'd say the Braves still move to Milwaukee, the Dodgers may head south to Miami or something, and perhaps the Atlanta Giants will emerge, A's will prolly stay Philadelphians since the FL's Kansas City Packers and the PCL's Oakland Oaks have monopolies on those towns. So, a league based off of this has awesome possibilities (each of the four leagues treated as a division), beginning in 1960. Unfortunately, I'm a Mac user which freezes my Louisiana Ligers from most fantasy games save Yahoo!, and especially OOTP 4/5 thus...anyone wanna help with the simming each season part?
