Need Advice: How To Properly Set Up A 6-8 Team HS Feeder League

For my 2013 & 2014 seasons I will coach HS. My biggest questions is how to get the statistical output of a 5 star player for HS. Mauer hit something like .580 in HS. I have 2 players that I want to do that with. One is a Joe DiMaggio like LF/CF, the other a Barry Bonds like CF/RF. If I just enter their career averages will that give them the massive stats?
player #1 approx .337 41 HR 39 2B 12 3B 97 BB 45 K
Player #2 .331 48 HR 31 2B 5 3B 112 BB 60 K

What other thing may I need to do to tweak player on this team to make them good but not dominant. This league will get deleted after 2014.

I am doing the same thing again in 2018 - 2020.
16 team approx Conference with an additional 16 team spread throughout the state of Illinois.This time it will be 7 players with great stats including 2 2 way players. #1 SP also plays 1B and 3B also pitches. I will play all games for the 32-36 game schedule.

You need to make sure that .580 in HS translates to about .260 in the majors. Player creation modifiers will need to be shifted down a bit, and player development (which is a world-wide setting) will need to be shifted slightly above what you already have.
