Starting in 2013, players banned for awards if they have bonus clauses - MLB - ESPN

Should/will it be implemented? Or does it really matter in this game?

It's so obscure (the link you posted is from 2007) that I don't see any relevance to OOTP. It's not as if there is any vote rigging in the game.
