Improved logo generator/creator

Most of my logos in my fictional league are just single-letter logos that I've created with Paint Shop Pro. I prefer to create my own than use the logo templates the game currently uses.

I'd like to see a simple logo creator within the game, where you can select the font, letter(s), colours, and possibly the positioning as well. I realize that Markus doesn't want to ship the game with a bunch of different fonts, but would it be possible for OOTP to make use of the fonts that are already on users' systems? Or permit users to install their own fonts?

It would be nice to have a quick and easy way to create something like this:

I'd imagine this wouldn't be hard to implement. Just let us customize the logo font and the colors and that's all you'd need to do. This would especially helpful for me because sometimes I have mascots that nobody has created logos for so I'm forced to settle for defaults or bug the logo guys to make them for me (which I do too much already).

Totally in agreement on this. All that would be necessary is to allow the player to choose the background/style out of the logos that already come prepackaged with the game, instead of having to hit "Regenerate" fifty times until you get something you like.

Super idea! As a first step, how about letting us choose the background and foreground AND add our own designs/templates?

PS: As a 2nd step - maybe #16? - add period correct templates; letters in the early years followed by text, followed by 2-3 color basic shape logos, then finally getting to multicolor logos....

AND: Team historical logos should be saved and used in any seasonal reports.
