Defending Champions Available

The Arabia Knights, the defending 4CBA Champions, have just become available, as their old owner has stepped down due to time constraints. Not only are they the defending champions, but they are also leading the Captain Cook Wild Card race early in the 2003 season, our third as a league.

The 4 Corners Baseball Association is a 24 team fictional league run by the same creative team that runs the CDL, which is preparing to enter its 16th season. We have no financials and all owners have players named after themselves in the 4CBA. Additionally, each team is set in a distinct, exotic locale, with its own logo created by one of our tri-commissioners. We also feature a distinctive and original rules page written specifically for the 4CBA. There is also a live sim held every week. Below is a little write-up of some of the exciting 4CBA Action from the last sim.

The live sim tonight had quite the exciting and interesting moment. Death Valley Scorpions hurler Christopher Pridemore (3 in ERA and 4 in Hits Allowed) took a Perfect Game against the Port Barrow Freeze into the Bottom of the ninth inning. Catcher Manuel Estrada led the ninth off with a walk, breaking up the perfect game. 40 Year Old Shortstop Keith Knapp (0 in Hits, .144 Batting Average) strode to the plate. He took the third pitch, a 93 MPH Fastball and turned on it, lacing a line drive to left-center field, breaking up the no-hitter with a single. The Scorpions won the game 5-0 and Pridemore set a career high for Strikeouts with 13.

This just shows that anything can happen in OOTP and the 4CBA. So, if you are looking for an exciting fictional league and feel you have what it takes to win the Conquistador Cup in 2003, apply to the 4CBA today.

I doubt the commissioners will need the plug, but the league is thriving well and has improved in each of its three seasons. Great chance to get in on a unique league! (and a good team to boot!)

Arabia has seen quite a bit of turnover in the GM position. Odd for such a successful franchise.

My dead granny could pitch a no-hitter in the extremely pitcher friendly confines of the Igloo. Not really, but the Freeze are aptly named.

Lovely logos, the Bora Bora Headhunters especially so.

Be warned though---You'll be in the same division as the Mongolia Horde. The general concensus throughout the league is that they are the best team in the 4CBA.

Seriously, this is a very solid league get in while you can.

If any of you are lucky enough to see an opening in this league, do everything you can to get in! Sam and Brian run a FANTASTIC league! I was the former owner of Arabia, but I just don't have time in my life right now to be involved in it as much as I wanted to, so I felt it wasn't fair to them. But seriously, this is one of the premier leagues on the Net, get in while you can!!
