Questions on OOTP game
Couple of questions I know you can't set rivalries in the game but does the game know when you play a division opponent and treat as a rivalry and have an affect on attendance?
In player stats on editor or anywhere else what is the thing I look for that will be the equivalent for being "clutch" I want to sign a pinch hitter to come off the bench I want him to be clutch to get a hit when it matters and not buckle under pressure. What do I look for to show if he is a clutch hitter? And since I have not gotten to a answe to this question I will post it here on this thread: Ok I have 30 team Major league and an AAA level affiliate with 30 teams an same with an AA level. now my question if any of you have done this before I want to expand my AAA to 30 more teams so it will go from 30 to 60 teams and I want each Major league club to have 2 affiliates in AAA level. So my AAA will be one league with 2 sub league and 30 teams per sub league 4 divisions per sub-league. My question is how will it work with one major league team having 2 affiliates In the same level? Pros and cons please? |

Many clubs have more then one AA & single A IRL and I believe several teams have had 2 AAA affiliates before. Only cons I can think of is right now OOTP can not tell the difference between High A and Low A so a player getting promoted from Low A to High A IRL would go to a better league in OOTP it's just another league.

Biggest problem with letting the AI have 2 minor league teams at the same level is that it will constantly send players back and forth between the two teams. It won't leave a player on one team. This becomes problematical when very few players play in one league long enough to qualify for the rate stats (batting average, ERA, etc.)...my advice is to not do it....

Ok if I have a minor league team that is affiliated with a major league team and I move that minor league team to another league one not affiliated with my major league what happens to all players on that minor league they move with you? Cause they are property of the major league team do they become free agents? Same what happens if I delete a minor league team what happens to the players? What happens to the history of the team?0

The players go with the team, unless you move them to another roster before moving the team.....
The game will keep the history of the deleted team..... |

The existence of a 'clutch' hitter is not believed by all......however, the basic pointers to the mythical beast would be batting with RISP, performance in the late innings of close games, and the presence of a standard shift stick mounted on the floor.....
