Suggestions for team names

If you were placing teams in Vancouver, Canada and Portland,Oregon what would be two realistic names for them in your opinion?
Thanks in advance.

The most obvious choices are... Mounties and Beavers.

Vancouver's traditional industries are logging and shipping, plus its historical origin as the western terminus of the transcontinental railway. It now has a very large film industry.

Names I've used for Vancouver teams: Thunderbirds, Captains (see George Vancouver), Seahawks, Strikers (slightly tongue-in-cheek nod to both the job of laying down railway track and Vancouver's history of labor/social movements), Stars.

Vancouver Whitecaps, Vancouver Cruisers.
Portland X-men (I don't know why, it just sounds cool).

I've used the Vancouver Mounties, Mountaineers, Pacifics, Steelheads and Thunderbirds.

For Portland I've used Moose, Loggers, Timberjacks, Pines and Explorers

I like Mounties, Stars and Thunderbirds for Vancouver. All three pay homage to the city in some fashion or another.
I'm not sure for Portland still....Pilots is kinda cool. I just ain't sure any other ideas for either one?
Btw, thanks guys for the suggestions you already posted.

Portland is known as the City of Roses. And it once had a real minor league club known as the Rosebuds. The Portland Rosebuds -- has a nice sound to it too. Maybe Citizen Kane/Orson Welles could be the owner...

Grizzlies came to mind for me too and for Portland I think of the basketball team, the Trail Blazers. Maybe shorten it Portland Blaze.

Isn't the Portland Pilots the college team name?
