Minor League Questions
I have 2 questions regarding minor leagues.
1. Is it possible to create a minor league team that has no major league team affiliation? (If so how would these players possibly make it to the majors, could they be drafted?) 2. Is it possible for a major league team to have more than 1 AAA, AA, A, R affiliated team? Reason I am asking is I am recreating the 1961 season and in the minors there are non affiliated teams and majors that have 2 AAA teams. Thanks |

Minor League Questions
1. Yes and they will act like an indy league team where they will not get any players from the draft but instead pick from FA. They will also use the same rules as your parent league meaning if you have the rule of minor league players not eligible for FA until 6 years pro (or whatever it is) they will be stuck on that team for awhile depending how many years they have been playing professionally. With that said, the AI seem to have a high turnover rate with these type of teams and only the best of the best players are bought back.
These teams will also use reserve roster and will have an unlimited roster space. I never see these teams with over 50 guys though.. 2. I assume so being that the MLB quick start have teams with multiple rookie and A league teams affiliated with then. Also, teams can be affiliated to only one parent team.
