Trying to get a card template alpha'ed, and having a bear of a time with it...
![]() This. How do I alpha the background and area where the card pic will be without messing up the card back? If there's a way to do it in GIMP, I haven't figured it out. You'd think when I ask it to alpha white, it would only alpha the white, but it doesn't. It's probably something mind-numbingly simple that I'm too stupid to figure out, so if somebody who knows this crap better than I do could help me out here, I'd appreciate it. I hope I won't have to go back and re-color the stupid back pixel-by-pixel, because that would be annoying and tedious. |

Nevermind. Figured out I had to layer it differently to get it to work properly. Like I said, something hideously simple that I was too stupid to figure out until I tried a bajillion other things first.
