Ten and five rule

Am curious has anybody found a way around this rule ??? Thought to ask first to see if anybody has any creative ideas on this, before trying a few things.
My idea is to put the player to the minors and see if that releases me from that and then trade the player.

You can always turn off the rule in League Setup if you don't like it. If you're going to try and find ways around it, why even have it on in the first place?

truth be told I wasnt thinking about changing setup. I was getting tired of players always seem to fade at age 35. I had too many players signed for too long thinking the players would do well into 38 .... I like signing players to long term contracts. Yes I did change age effects settings too in current season so Hoping that helps a bit.

Oh well but it was worth asking anyways

I'm sure a lot of real life GM's wish they could change the rules to fix their poor decisions.

Here is a list of current team rosters that I pulled from ESPN that shows youngest and oldest players. Notice how few teams have anyone over 37. I think it is a fallacy that there are a lot of "stars" who are age 38 or above. only 2 teams (NYY and Toronto) are over 30 for average age.

Don't give anyone a multi year contract after 30 or so.

Five thousand thanks for a non-modder? I never thought I'd see the day. Thank you for your support.
